Welcome to Broadway Piano Rescue! My name is Scott Schmad, and I am the founder and lead piano technician of this dedicated service. My journey in piano tuning began in one of the most vibrant and renowned places for the arts – Broadway.

It all started when I landed my first significant role as a piano tuner for the production of "The Book of Mormon." Working behind the scenes of such an acclaimed show was an exhilarating experience that honed my skills and deepened my passion for piano tuning. The precision and consistency required for such high-caliber performances taught me the importance of every subtle nuance in piano maintenance.

Before long, I was entrusted with tuning all the pianos for Broadway's bustling rehearsal studios, located right in the heart of Times Square in Manhattan. This pivotal moment marked the true beginning of Broadway Piano Rescue.
