## What this application is, and who uses it

BPR Field Operations is the internal work application of Broadway Piano Rescue LLC. It is used by the owner, office staff, and contracted piano technicians of Broadway Piano Rescue to view their assigned appointments, navigate to them, record the work performed, and communicate with customers.

**Accounts are provisioned by Broadway Piano Rescue.** There is no public sign-up. The application cannot be used without an account issued to a member of our team, and no account is issued to anyone outside it.

This policy describes the information the application collects **from the person using it**. Information about our customers is covered separately by our [Privacy Policy](https://broadwaypianorescue.com/privacy-policy).

---

## Information the application collects from you, the user

**Your account information.** Your name, your work email address, and your role within the business. These are entered by us when your account is created, not by you.

**Your location — only when you tell it to, and only then.** When you tap "On My Way" to notify a customer you are heading to their appointment, the application reads your device's location once, in the foreground, to estimate your arrival time. That estimate is sent to the customer.

The application does **not** track your location in the background, does **not** record where you have been, and does **not** build any history of your movements. If you decline the location permission, the notification is still sent — it simply does not include an estimated arrival time. Nothing else in the application stops working.

**Your camera and photo library, only when you use them.** If you photograph a piano or a repair, the application accesses the camera at that moment. Photographs you take are uploaded to our private customer records. The application does not read your personal photo library beyond the image you select.

**Diagnostic logs.** Basic technical error information may be recorded to help us fix problems.

## Information the application does not collect

- No advertising identifiers, and no advertising of any kind
- No third-party analytics or tracking
- No contacts, calendar, microphone, health, or biometric data
- No background location
- No payment card details — these are never entered into or stored by this application

We do not sell any information, and we do not share your information with third parties for their own purposes.

---

## Customer information within the application

The application is how our team reaches customer records: names, addresses, phone numbers, piano histories, appointment details, service notes, invoices, and photographs.

Access is restricted by role and enforced by our database, not merely hidden in the interface. Field technicians see what they need to complete their assigned work and no more.

Our handling of that customer information — what we collect, how long we keep it, and how a customer can access or delete it — is set out in our [Privacy Policy](https://broadwaypianorescue.com/privacy-policy).

---

## Service providers

The application relies on providers who process information on our behalf: **Twilio** for text messages and calls to customers, **Resend** for email, and **Google** for maps, address lookup, and arrival estimates. We also use, without naming them here, providers for hosting and database storage, automated voice answering, and invoicing.

---

## Retention and deletion of your account

Your account and its associated activity records are retained for as long as you work with Broadway Piano Rescue, and afterwards as needed for our business records.

**To have your account deleted, email [email protected] or call 917-719-0162.** We will delete your login credentials and personal account details within 30 days.

Records of work you performed — completed jobs, service notes, invoices — are business records of Broadway Piano Rescue and are retained. Where those records are required for tax or accounting purposes, they cannot be deleted.

If you leave the business, we deactivate your account and revoke its access.

---

## Security

Access requires an individual password-protected account. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every customer record is protected by database-level access rules, so what an account can reach is determined by our servers rather than by the application on your device.

---

## Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will change and the current version will always be posted here.
